Welcome to the new deAction Beach Shop, the hub of Barbados’ waterports action. The deAction shop is now located about 50 feet down wind on Silver Rock beach, next to the old fishing boat and across the street from the London Bar Rum Shop.

This new and improved facility caters to all water peoples’ needs. Barbados has one of the best beach cultures in the world with its combination of windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing, all blended with the island’s exotic night life, music, standard of living, festive atmosphere and the dynamic way the friendly people interact with the visitors. The deAction Shop’s location is ideal for windsurfing, kitesurfing and beginner surfing.

Windsurfing:
The trade winds normally start blowing in December and continue through July, with two to four foot waves on the reef about 300 yards off shore. Surprisingly, the June and July can be excellent for waves and wind also. DeAction Shop location is the perfect jump-off-point for wave sailing, providing the easiest and most convenient launch for everyone from beginners to advanced windsurfers. If you don’t wish to tackle the outer waves you can always stay inside the reef.

This legendary wavesailor and freestyler has enjoyed top rankings for several years and continues to compete intensely on the international tour. Brian combines his vast windsurfing experience and innate local knowledge to offer the best quality rental equipment for the prevailing conditions.
